Since opening her own practice last December, Dr. Miner has welcomed 700 new patients. She has participated in hundreds of hours of advanced training and heartily embraces advanced digital technology, attention to detail and thorough communication with her patients.

Inspiration

Dr. Miner’s twin passions for science and working with her hands made a career in dentistry the ideal pursuit. Her favorite part of the job? “I like helping people get out of pain,” she says.

Biggest Challenge

“It’s one of the most important things I do. I spend a lot of time helping patients understand how to achieve better oral health and make that progression to a healthy mouth.”

Advice for Aspiring Dentists

“Like your staff,” Dr. Miner says. “You’ll rely on them so much to get things done. My staff is an extension of me. Without their support, my work would be really challenging.”
