WHY SHE WAS NOMINATED:

In addition to managing a private practice, Dr. Vo has provided patient care in a community-health setting at Oakland Asian Health Services since 2004. She’s also a clinical professor and mentor at UCSF, supervising students who provide care to the homeless. In 2013, she was named the San Francisco Dental Society Committee Person of the Year.
