Having begun dental school at age 19, Dr. Schacherl is now a partner in her father’s practice. She has also followed in her philanthropic dad’s footsteps, having treated patients at his clinic in Siguatepeque, Honduras. She is currently one of four faculty members at the Pinhole Academy in Pasadena, California, and has trained dentists from all over the world in that minimally invasive gum surgery.
