Inspiration

As a teenager, Dr. Koutsoyiannis broke his front teeth multiple times playing football and falling off his bike. “I needed a lot of dental work, and I’d hold up the mirror to watch,” he says. “It left me leaning toward the profession.”

Favorite Part of the Profession

Re-creating someone’s smile. “I’ve had people cry in the chair from joy,” he says.

Patient’s choice, says Dr. Koutsoyiannis. “We have a digital library and headphones. You choose what to watch or listen to in the chair.”
