Angela B. Bateson, DDS
General dentistry
DDS, Ohio State University
Dr. Bateson’s dedication to her profession was tested in 2007, when a devastating flood destroyed her practice and all of her records and equipment. Determined not only to rebuild but to improve her practice the second time around, she made use of ergonomic designs and new technology to create one of the most impressive practices in Ohio.
Dr. Bateson comes from a family of farmers, but after an orthodontist straightened her teeth, she chose dentistry. “Braces changed my life,” she says. “I wanted to do that for other people.”
Balancing work and family (she has three children under 6). “I practice full-time as a solo practitioner most days from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. without lunch
so I can go home to be a mom, attend Seattle Study Club and still make time to spend an hour with my husband working out in our home gym.”
James Taylor. “I go to work to relax.”
