The freshest fashions—and the dozens of talented dentists modeling them—helped make the Incisal Edge 40 Under 40 photo shoot, at the James New York NoMad hotel in Manhattan, a showstopping success this June.

Hosted by Benco Dental, this year’s 40 Under 40 was sponsored by Vatech America, 3M Oral Care, Carestream Dental, Midmark Dental and Septodont; the VIP green room at the shoot was sponsored by Air Techniques. The lush pictures were shot by Matt Furman and Macrae Marran. Furman, a renowned editorial and commercial photographer, has previously shot notables including Neil Young, John Legend, television personality Robin Roberts and actor Chazz Palminteri, among many others; Marran specializes in portraiture, fashion, landscapes and product photography.

One highlight: During the June 6 cocktail reception, brothers Cody and Julian Levine, who founded Twice toothpaste with rocker Lenny Kravitz, presented (via random drawing) a dental-mission trip to the Bahamas in collaboration with the GLO Good Foundation, through which Kravitz helps bring oral-health care to his native land. (Congratulations to winners Dr. Kady Rawal and Dr. Mark M. Dawoud.) The 40 Under 40 smorgasbord occupies much of this issue; here’s an amuse-bouche to whet your appetite in the meantime.
