pediatric-dental residency, Dr. Reddy is passionate about working with special-needs children. “I pride
myself on the desensitization program with them —
working very slowly, not speaking down to them because they’re children or because of any disabilities they may have,” she says. “I treat everyone kindly
and professionally while helping them get through
a difficult situation.”

“Rubber dams,” she says. “They’re an old, very basic technology, but working with kids, I need them.”

Something People Don't Know

Dr. Reddy also wants to be a chef and is planning to take some time off later in her career to go to culinary school in New York. She loves Indian dishes; one specialty of hers is biryani, a one-pot rice dish mixed with onions and various kinds of meat.
