Inspiration

Attention to detail — from taking kids’ pictures to remembering to ask a patient about his sick brother — is one thing that keeps multiple generations of families coming to his practice. “There’s a lot of satisfaction seeing grandparents, children and grandchildren,” he says.

Biggest Challenge

It’s difficult to see patients suffering from pain, Dr. Dalseth says, but rewarding when they leave comfortable.

Classical. “Music is supposed to be a subtle undercurrent,” he says. “Soothing and felt, not necessarily heard.”
