Dr. Stapleton is a renovation specialist. Just one year ago, he purchased what he calls a “very old-school” practice, outfitting it with the latest high technology to increase efficiency. He also amended the existing “patchwork” philosophy familiar to patients and staff, much to the liking of each.
His mentor, Dr. Peter Dawson, who taught him about comprehensive dentistry. “Any dentist can make teeth,
but the difficult part is understanding the overall picture of how muscles and joints affect teeth and supporting structures, and vice-versa,” Dr. Stapleton says.

Although long hours practicing dentistry don’t make him tense, Dr. Stapleton says, he is avowedly not a morning person.
