Yunbelievable Smiles
DMD, Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine
Tenacity was the name of the game for Dr. Yun, when he set out to establish his practice in 2019, shortly before the onset of the pandemic. He refused to give up or give in, staying the course and building a large practice with a coffee-shop vibe, complete with Nintendo Switch-connected televisions mounted in the ceiling and a state-of-the-art sterilization center.
“Believe in yourself and trust your team. It took me almost seven years to strike out on my own. I was hopping in and out of associate jobs trying to find the right fit. If you can’t find your dream office, don’t be afraid of the startup route. You can build a foundation with your own vision in mind and hire the team you want to hire. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. It can be expensive, but it’s worth it.”
Continued growth. “The office was built to have six treatment rooms, and only two were equipped from the get-go. We’re up to four now, and we plan to equip all six by the end of 2022.”
