Dr. Charnley leads a precision-based orthodontics practice in western Michigan, paying special heed to the micro-aesthetics of a smile.
“I’ve always been drawn to the aesthetic aspects of a well-balanced smile,” he says. “If attention to detail is paid for the micro-aesthetic, it takes someone from a nice smile to a fantastic smile.”

Dr. Charnley played football at Kalamazoo College, and a “goofy” blocked field goal one game resulted in his making the highlight reel on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”
“Don’t be afraid to look at all sorts of practice opportunities,” he says. “You never know when you’re going to come across a community and a practice that are a perfect fit for you.”
