Over a decade ago, Dr. Lagreca moved from Venezuela to the U.S., leaving behind friends and family to forge her own prosthodontic path. In addition to practicing at Tufts since 2017, she has also been a full-time professor of postgraduate prosthodontics since 2015, course director of a continuing-education program for internationally trained dentists at Tufts Dental, an active leader in the American College of Prosthodontics and director of the Academic Dental Career Fellowship Program at Tufts. Dr. Lagreca’s latest project is her podcast, The International Dentist, dedicated to helping foreign-trained doctors navigate the tasks of transferring their skill sets to American clinical settings.
“My Nikon camera and twin flashes.”

This is an exciting and transformational time for dentistry.”
