Why He Was Nominated:

The only practicing periodontist on Aruba, Dr. Narain currently practices throughout 10 offices spanning New York and New Jersey. He’s a major supporter of mentoring and often supports aspiring dentists, allowing them to shadow him during patient visits. A compassionate provider, Dr. Narain can complete implant surgery without guides. He’s the periodontal director at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn and is an active member of the National Dental Association of Greater New York.

“That I cannot be everywhere at once. I work in 10 offices in and near New York City, and it can be challenging accommodating appointments at each. Maybe in the future I’ll be able to clone myself.”

“I’m fluent in four languages. Other than English, I communicate with patients in Dutch, Papiamento and Spanish, which are spoken in Aruba.”
