WHY HE WAS NOMINATED:

Dr. Boehne has a distinguished background in both academia and philanthropy. He was a contributing author of the 2016 textbook Avoiding and Treating Dental Complications: Best Practices in Dentistry, and was co-chair of an endodontics-technique course at UCLA in 2014. He is involved with many charitable organizations, such as the Flying  Samaritans, the Sumba Foundation, the Friendship Shelter, the Orangewood Children’s Foundation and Safe Families.
