Why He Was Nominated:

An avid snowboarder, stand-up paddleboarder and novice sailor, Dr. Ray took over his solo-practitioner surgical office immediately after residency. He completed his surgical residency at McGill University in Montreal (where he’s now a faculty lecturer) and his general practice residency at the University of British Columbia. In addition to his own practice, Dr. Ray also cares for patients at UVM-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh. He’s board-certified in both the United States and Canada.
