Li’l Teeth Dentistry
General dentistry, focusing on patients 21 and younger
DDS, University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine
“I’d always had the dream of returning to my community to give back. After dental school, I opened a practice to accept everyone regardless of socioeconomic background. We’re building a practice to include pediatrics, general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery and special needs.”
“Being able to read nonverbal communication from kids and adjust to their needs. It’s important to realize that every child is different.”
Dr. Gillespie loves to beatbox. Also, if he hadn’t become a dentist, he’d have gone into architecture. “Being able to put ideas and a vision into reality and see the end result is rewarding.” Working through challenges? Not a problem. “I’m severely dyslexic,” he says, “but I didn’t let that stand in the way of my goals.”
