Impression Materials
The use of impression materials, unsurprisingly, continues to decline due to scanner adoption, while 3D printer sales continue to increase. However, don’t count out mills just yet. After sales declined 14 percent in 2023, they rebounded in ’24 due in part to high demand, the ability to handle advanced materials and growth in implantology. Meanwhile, scanner sales dipped 10 percent because, we suspect, buyers may be waiting on new model introductions slated for this year.
